Watch Our ARTivism Women's History Month Panel Discussion: Armenian Resilience Amidst Conflict

For our ARTivism 2023 panel discussion, All-ASA was honored to host Nanor Balabanian, Founder and Director of the Hidden Road Initiative ; Syuzanna Petrosyan, Associate Director at the USC Institute of Armenian Studies ; Steve Swerdlow, J.D., Associate Professor of the Practice of Human Rights at USC ; Nairi Bandari, documentary filmmaker and She Loves Collective artist ; Nina Shahverdyan, Teach for Armenia teacher leader in Artsakh ; and Diana Khachatryan, a high school student from Artsakh.

As part of All-ASA’s month-long Women’s History Month initiative, ARTivism aims to highlight Armenian resilience amidst conflict. The impact of war on women and children, though outsized, is often overlooked in our advocacy — with this panel, we hope to bridge that gap and shed light on some of the most vulnerable populations affected by the fallout of conflict in Armenia and Artsakh.
